Yes, there is always the thought that the upgrade would stop and you would
end up with a dead unit. My advise is that unless the features or fixes
are needed, don't flash the firmware just to keep up with the latest.

Thanks for the information. That is handy to know. If HPT is willing to
disclose the information to us, we should be equipped to do so too.

I assume so, if they are allowed to fix dead units.
