At the moment Ian, only 1 software package for the PC is available with
voice (AFAIK) and that is Teletype GPS but save your money as it is utter
garbage. I bought it to put on an embedded PC but I ended up using Tomtom's
Navigator on my Ipaq instead.

There is a rumour that Directions will be bringing out there Infomap
software shortly with voice turn by turn for the PC. There has also been a
rumour that Microsoft will be doing something similar with Autoroute. Not
sure of any dates yet though.

If you have a Pocket PC, check out Tomtom's Navigator as you will be able
to
use the GPS you already have with a suitable connector and lead from
Gomadic

Not sure if anyone else has done anything with the GPS units from Stuarts
bulk buy but I can confirm they work great. The interface unit worked first
time and I now have an accurate fix on my rotary clothes line ! (only place
I could think off to attach the GPS mag mount)
