That's true, but I'm not aware of any devices that are both ADSL modem
and
cable modem.
I think such thing doesn't exist. And I'm living in block of flats
managed
by some agency and I cannot get cable modem anyway.
NTL promised to be available at some point later, but I wouldn't take
it
