RE: Belkin Wireless LAN cards

As the silence was deafening, and the children are struggling to live without Internet access, I’ve ordered one of each, and I’ll report back on Monday.

Anyone have any experience with Belkin wireless LAN cards?

I’m having problems connecting to my existing wireless LANs with one of my machines, and I no I can connect with other laptops in the same area. I see that Dabs are selling the Belkin cards which support 128bit encryption and Windows XP under their value brand at 36 quid for the network card, and 17 for the PCI adapter. I think they are re-badged 3com cards, but have no external antenna connector.

Anyone tried them?

Tim
