The normal 3-pin arrangement (as used on PCs) is called IEC. The 2-pin
cassette type is simply called "Figure 8".

It is called, according to CPC catalogue page 1224, "2.5A class 1
triangular, cold condition type". The CPC catalogue number is PL01361,=
price =A32.50 + VAT. Dell uses that connector on some of their laptops.
