RE: Install tips please!

Just an idea,

But could you lay the conduit behind the wall, and then ask mr sky engineer to feed the cable through that as and when. ?

Jonathan.

I'm having a property stubstantially extended and want to have Sky+
installed in the extention. I've just received the Sky+ offer documents, and
I believe that his offer is only available if you buy direct through Sky.

The dilemmna I have is that I want the builder to run coax behind the
plasterboard ahead of time, but surely that means the ends will have to be
left open to the elements until Sky turn up to replace the LNB and install
the box.

I've phoned Sky and asked them to just deliver the box and LNB and that I
would arrange for installation myself, but they won't have any of it. I did
ask for a supervisor call back 48 hours ago, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm sure I'm not the only person in the country in this position, does
anyone have any ideas?

Tim.
