From what I understand it's the TV resolution that is letting you down for the most part. I'm sure others will give a better or fuller explanation.
 
IIRC there is no good solution for a standard TV at better than 640 480

Anyone out there managed to get a decent output to TV from their PC.
 
Im wanting to pipe my PC screen over the coax around the house so i can monitor the HA software, use things like
CallerID etc.
 
Ive tried with an old-ish Hauppauge card and also with a new ATI card both are very-very poor through composite and S-VHS
connections - i only seem to be able to read the text in 640x480 mode which aint much good.
 
So if anyone can recommend a good PC-TV converter which they have use succesfully on a normal (Non-progressive scan TV)
id love to hear from them.
