I have also used my PDA ( Compaq 5450) via a wireless 802.2 gateway with
awesome results. Checkout www.ipblue.com <http://www.ipblue.com/> for a
free 30 day trial. You wont be disappointed

Subject: [ukha_d] VoIP .. Does it work in the real world ?
Hi all,
I have been watching the various discussions on VoIP and general interest
in
packages such as Asterisk which have taken place on this list recently and
thought it was time to find out how people have been getting on.
Is anyone out there actually using VoIP ?
Are you using it over the internet ?
If so how do you find the quality ?
If you are happy with the quality would you consider using
internet based VoIP a viable replacement for traditional lines ?
What are you using in the way of hardware and software (& Codecs) ?
Any other comments or experiences you'd like to share or warn people about
:-) ?
I'm happy for people to email me directly, and I'll summarise if there's
any
interest.
Many thanks,
Mark
