Re: Thought of the day : HA with a Pocket PC ?

Gareth,

Exactly that... although the wall mounting i am building has yet to be
screwed to the wall!

I have a journada 525 (about £50 on ebay now i think) and a £30 Wifi CF
card from ebuyer..
I have a xAP client that logs all the useful xAP messages into a
database.. I then use PHP to create a web page that fits nicely on the
screen, but there is still a bit of work to be done on the UI.. i wanted
to use flash, well I did use flash, until i realised that the UI i spent
about a week developing didnt work on the pocket PC version of flash!
ho hum!

I use graphics instead of text on the screen so i have have it mounted
horizontally to get a better display... i like it though, and if i ever
find an affordable (to me, a student) PC > IR blaster, I will add some
telly controls to it as well. At the moment it is lighting only!
