Hi Dan,

I think it is widescreen but I think your DVD player is setup for a 4:3
TV.

The image on the TFT has black bars which is how a WS DVD would be on a
4:3TV. If you compare the TV and TFT closely, (look at the mountains in
the
top corner), you can actually see more picture detail on the TFT. It
looks
as if the TV has auto zoomed to get rid of the black bars and in the
process
has lost the extremities of the picture.

Cant wait till mine arrive :-)

The image looks somewhat squashed on my TFT, so mine seems not to be
