The other product that looks interesting is a film that you apply on the
mirror/perspex which apparently stops fogging:

Not sure how well these work, or of a UK supplier, but this company is
selling the film for $20.

Do you have a source for this in the UK?  I have a mirrored door on a
bathroom
cabinet that fogs up dreadfully, but being on a door, and double sided, I
can't
bung a heater on the back :-(
