Hi Umar

C-bus switching and control is done by Cat-5. You have the option of
running your wiring for c-bus in a 'star' or 'daisy-chain' configuration
back to your proposed Node '0' or consumer units. Unusually you can also
use any combination of the two in your design as well.

It may be worth considering wiring your c-bus circuits with a different
colour CAT-5 cable (Clipsal supply a PINK colour cable for this purpose,
it is also more heavily insulated as well to help with proximity to
240v.) so that you can easily differentiate between CAT-5 for C-bus and
other uses. Failing that a good labelling scheme is essential. C-bus
runs at a voltage of 32v across the CAT-5 and mixing up your CAT-5 will
have a VERY bad effect :-(

One other consideration which I'm sure you have covered is that you will
need to run each load (i.e Lamp or group of lamps) back to your consumer
unit. As always over cable, YOU WILL change your designs as you go!
