i am wanting to run xbox and gamecube in node0 , but of course want the
controllers in the lounge!
i have purchased some extension leads, which gives me the 2 custom
connectors (ie a male to go in to the console and a female to plug the
handset in)
so, simple i thought, simply cut the extension lead in half, and stick
an
rj45 connector on each cut end. this then gave me
(handset)-( Female-extension-RJ45 plug)-(RJ45 wallbox-patchpanel)-(RJ45
plug-male extension lead)-(console)
i have kept all of the colour arrangements of the 2 rj45 plugs the
same,
which i am guessing keeps the pins all 'straight through'
is this correct, or as i suspect am i doing something really stupid ?
(cos
it aint working!)
cheers
