A number of reasons tbh.. My experience of the rabbit is pretty limited, if
I'm honest I don;t really rate the docs much but that could well be because
of my lack of experience...

I did some work a while ago on it but lost the code when my machine died..
1 wire stuff looks great but it's pretty complex and the parts seem to be quite
hard to get hold of .. ds1620's are dirt cheap, and I have some :)
