The general consensus is if you try to keep it in place, you'll muck it
up, but if you just go ahead and open the case it'll stay intact.... :)
When you slide the case back, it just seems to hang on right.... :)

YMMV of course, but I've seen it mentioned in a couple of guides and it
worked like that for me.
