Simon,
Sounds like you've got the bases covered. Good luck with your system.
I am using a ground-source heatpump (more efficient than air-source)
>from
The new house is a barn conversion with a couple of acres of land, so we
have space to lay what the heatpump people call "slinkies". These
are
approx. 180-metre pipes tied in a series of 1-metre-diameter loops. I
have four of these, each of which needs to be buried in a 1.5-metre+
deep, 40-metre long trench. This setup allows us to use the least amount
of land possible for a horizontal configuration for the heat exchange
pipes.
Cheers,
Bruno
