It's a nice thought but I find it hard to believe. I know that there is
no spare copper in the close that I live in. So what would happen if I
wanted an extra line? (Bearing in mind that I have ADSL so they can't
tinker with my line).

They sure as hell won't put 2KM of cable in from the local exchange for
?100 install fee...

I'm guessing Grahams line next door gets DACS'ed and I piggyback onto his
line... 3mins work to nail a DACS box to my lounge wall (again) and 1 min
fiddling in the BT man hole 200 metres away... Now that's a ?100 worth...

Did I mention how great ADSL was? :)
