RS's cover is well-regarded, and seems good value.

Sevenoaks have gone downhill since they merged with Sound and Vision - pers= onally I wouldn't buy anything from them any more.

...just trying to work out a payment method that keep SWMBO happy. I'd narr= owed it down the the Panny and the Pioneer, and having seem them side by si= de, have plumped for the latter. 

I struggled to separate them in terms of quality, but if I had to, I'd say = that the Panny still had a slightly darker (in a good way) picture, but the= Pioneer still had pretty good blacks whilst maintaining the brightness, pl= us the resolution is higher, which having plugged my laptop into both, did = make an obvious difference.  The fact that the Pioneer comes with the = tuner and on-board amp (I don't want to turn the AV amp every time SWMBO wa= nts to watch Corry) just about edged it for me, but both screens were reall= y very good, way ahead of the Sony's, and even further ahead of the LG's/Sa= msungs etc.  You really do still get what you pay for when it comes to= Plasma's.

Just trying to get a deal on price now.  Richer are almost the cheapes= t at =A34099, but Unbeatable has just reduced to =A34089, which means RS wi= ll have to do a price match less =A3100, so =A33989 ;-).  A local (Sev= enoaks Sound &
Vision) has agreed, reluctantly, to match the RS price, but cannot offer an= y kind of warranty.  RS will do theirs for =A3250 - Empire and Unbeata= ble want =A3750 for almost identical cover!

Sorry to bore those not interested in this, but I've got nobody else to tal= k about it to!
