RE: Wiring for LD11

Thanks for this Ken, it helps lots....

Din rail stuff is not something i've used yet in x10, and it may be
something of a cabling nightmare, as this is a retro fit to existing
circuits, (and as far as possible I would like to be able to remove them
again when we move).

Regards

Daniel

IME, yes I've yet to find one that isn't although I do know that they
exist.

Yup, a far nicer solution IMO.

Yes and mains halogens as well! ;)

I've yet to replace a fuse in an LD10 or LD11, lamp modules OTOH... :(

The wiring is *fairly* straightforward, basically a L & N in, Live out
to the fitting and the N to the fitting is bridged to the N in I did
pics of it on http://www.funkycool.co.uk/howto1.htm and this shows how
it's done to a lamp module, the basic principal is the same though.

As for the momentary switch I'm struggling to remember that one and I
don't have a sheet to hand to check it, but I'm sure IIRC it's just a
simple live return off terminal 2. It's fairly clear when you see the
instructions but if you have hassles gimme a shout.
