RE: Is my CM11A dying ?
Daniel,
Did you end up having to replace the CM11A, or did it just 'fix itself'
?
Thanks
Mark

I had exactly the same problem over the summer.... unfortunately never
found
out what caused it (each time homeseer issued a command the pc went to
100%
cpu usage and took forever to actually issue the command).
One recommendation is to unplug the cm11 for 5 - 10 mins and let it
reset.

Subject: [ukha_d] Is my CM11A dying ?
Over the past few days I have been having some problems with Homeseer and
my
CM11A. After a few hours (abouy 7) of Homeseer running, it appears to
lock
up. I then installed Homeseer on a clean OS build and exactly the same
thing
happens. After more investigation it seems that when initially
starting up
Homeseer X10 is received ok from all over the house and recorded in the
log,
but sending X10 initially takes upto 5 minutes from the log saying the
command has been sent to the light (or what ever) responding and then
it
seems to process all the commands at once, there no errors in the log,
except that after about 20 minutes of running I start to get occasional
can
not communicate with CM11A messages. Then as mentioned after a few
hours
Homeseer locks up.
I am running Homeseer 1.6, and have been for many months. The CM11A is
about
6 months old and is the second one in about 3 years, after the first died.
I
have not yet had the time to test with say Active Home to rule out
Homeseer
with complete certainty, but that will be my next step unless someone
here
has seen these symptons before and I can save myself a lot of time and
hassle !!!
Thanks
