I wired mine via the access holes top and bottom.

Not the neatest of wiring jobs, (note to self get some more cable ties)

The protective sheath needs to be connected to the casing using one
anchor
bolts provided. I have stripped the sleeving back to edge of the case
and
connected the sheath there.

Personally I just chopped them off but left enough wire down in the
floor/ceiling to make sure if I need the extras I can take up the slack
and
strip the wire back further.

Once the cables are connected into the cases I haven't worried about
relabeling them, I can tell which is which by which zone they are
linked
to.

One thing worth doing up front is to wire the 12v and 0v terminals on
the
main panel up to some plastic connection block. Say a 6 way block
and
common 3 for 12v and 3 for 0v, otherwise it gets a bit hard trying to
get
all the PIR power supply wires in the small terminals. Well worth
joining
up to the comfort-technical yahoo group as well for lots of techy
advice.
