I've not had any hanging problems with the ftp server, but I don't
transfer that many files via ftp to my Tivo... :)

I managed to find a ps at http://tivo.samba.org/download/tridge/
download, ftp, chmod +x and you'll have process information.

I didn't have much success with it until I got to
ps x
which shows all processes running (I started off with PS -A since thats
what works on my other boxen, but not in the Tivo build!)  If you've
installed the devbin utils and have grep available, you can
ps xgrep ftp
which will show the process ID of the ftp daemon.

I'm currently looking for a kill compiled for Tivo..... I'll post back
when/if I find one.
