Hi all,
As some of you may be aware, Ian Lowe and myself have designed an
alternative version of the xAP protocol which is aimed at hobbiests
like
ourselves.
We have called the protocol xPL (eXtremely simPle protocoL).
It is important to clarify that the protocol is _not_ interchangable
with xAP, but _can_ co-exist on the same network. The protocol was
designed to be 'lite on the wire' and strongly structured to aid
implementation on small devices, but at the same time be perfectly
usable in complicated pc based applications.
