Oil Watchman Tech Specs ?

Chaps,

I have a device mounted to my heating oil tank which transmits the oil
level
using an MPT reserved frequency to a receiver plugged into a socket in
the
kitchen on which is a single digit LCD display showing the oil level in
the
tank.  Handy as it is, SWMBO is constantly unplugging it to plug in
other things
despite the fact that there are ample other sockets.

I'm thinking of building a second receiver which will convert the
transmission
to a serial stream which I can then more easily read with my HA
system.  I've
asked the manufactuer for some specs but nothing has come back. 
Anyone know
more about these things or know where I can get the specs ?
