Yes, you were the one who changed the subject and continued the 
thread. I had assumed that Mark Hetherington had posted before he 
received the close notification and therefore did not respond to his 
post. I am sorry that Mark Hetherington thought the post was 
directed at him, it certainly wasn't and I only left his name there 
to show that the Patents thread had infact continued from his post.

I did not flame you, nor did I close the thread. When James closed 
the thread he made it clear that the conversation should continue 
via private mail and I am happy to continue this discussion that way.

I am now re-itterating the closure of this thread, it is off topic, 
has led to some unpleasantness and is not serving any useful purpose.
