The easiest way is to get yourself a copy of "tweakui" one of the
microsoft
power toys for Windows.
"autologon" is a feature you can enable using a registry key, but
tweakui
does it for you.
get it here:

Subject: [ukha_d] Node0 startup question
How do you make a Windows 98SE node0 automatically login at startup?
When my system starts up, it asks for the Windows client password before
it
completes its startup, and loads HomeSeer.
I can remove the password bit by uninstalling Microsoft Client from the
Network box, but then the ISP password is removed for PPP and it wont
auto
connect to the Internet.
How do I do both? I want the PC to startup (after a power failure),
load
HomeSeer, and have PPP available for automatic connection.
Ta - Steve
