No, most won't :-( I had high hopes... ParcelForce will, on a good
day. Royal Mail will (cos I've made friends with my postie - but he
hasn't mastered the lock). But none of the others will - even if
asked nicely and left a delivery waiver.

I did hear a rumour once that one of the petrol stations was
considering setting up a drop-off/pick-up service. Now that would be
truly superb idea if it ever came to fruition...
