Hi James,
I was interested in LED lights because the gap between plasterboard and
concrete on my suspended ceiling is 1.5" only (3.8 cm), and most of
halogen=
s
require 15 cm at least (for heat dissipation).
Are the LED lights really cool (cold), and is there any part (trafo or
similar) that is getting hot.
If the 15 LED ones are really that bright, I could re-consider putting
them=
,
but they seem to bee too deep.

Do you know if it's possible to dim them with LW11s?
Also, do you know if it's possible to butcher them to make them less deep?
Cheers,
Nik

I bought 2 sets of the Twilight 1 - (1 LED) and 2 sets of the Twilight 6 =
-
6 LED)

The 6 LED lights are VERY bright - id say nealry as bright as a 20W
halogen, but slightly more direction (lower viewing angle)

So i bet the 15 LED lights are really bright, - they certainly cast a
reallu cool blue light :-)

They are only 1 LED.
Do you have any idea if 15 LED ones can be compared to halogens, or the
amount of light is still too low.

A while ago i was asking about LED desk lights, looking for suppliers o=
r
info on making them up myself.

I had seen them for sale at dig-it.co.uk, a set of four were =A369.99,
which i thought was way to expensive!!

Ive been searching for a long time and finally took delivery of four
sets this week.

The same lights per set cost me =A323.00 - for exactly the same make an=
d
model.

They look fantastic in the deck too.

Anyway for anyone else thats interested i got them from here:

Jim

P.S. they have only just come in stock and they had had loads of
pre-orders but you should be ok getting them
