Yes it does. What the bot sees is the HTML which clearly marks email
addresses with "mailto" and the name@xxxxxxx formatting of the
address. Can you change my address on the review I submitted to
garygfx@xxxxxxx please so my primary email account isn't
destroyed with junk mail? A simple but effective way to enable email
links on websites without the risk of them being harvested by bots is
to use javascript to scramble the address which can only be
descrambled with a web browser. Bots are too stupid to interprit
javascript. I can send you some sample code if you want to use it?
