perhaps you would be kind enough to email me (off list perhaps) on how
you got web from P800 to PC as that is the one bit I havent been able to
work out on my P800 and would obviously open up the possibilty of using
P800 for basic remote HA control.

I'm using Homeseer's web interface to control X10 via my Sony
Ericsson P800 phone. When I'm at home I use a Bluetooth connection to
my PC (which is running Homeseer) and when out I connect to the
Internet via GPRS to access the web interface. (But I think it's
cheaper to phone home and use Comfort to issue X10 commands).

Yes, I know the P800 is classed as a phone and not a PDA but I would
argue that it is a PDA because it runs the latest Symbian OS and
crashes now and again. ;-)
