Cool, just seen the following snippet about updates to the Xbox Media
Player confirming some good news.

In response to a question on the Deal Database forum

Yeah I'm one of the guys that started the XBMP project. And yes, it will
be exactly like tivo-mplayer. You'll stream the movies right off of the
tivo hard drive.

Since we're so close to releasing 2.4, I'm afraid my changes can't go in
right now. We don't want to introduce new bugs. 2.4 is mainly a bug
fixin release where we're aiming to produce a really solid release.

The moment its released, however, its going into CVS.

Just like tivo-mplayer, it will play "local" .ty files. In the
case of
XBMP, you can play them off the hard drive, off a SMB share or off of
Relax, XNS, or any other means of getting movies to your xbox.

This will be a killer xbox app for all Tivo owners. Can't Wait!
