Yes.

Usually very good but it does depend on the CODEC used. The higher the
compression, the narrower the bandwidth required but the voice quality
might decrease.

But it is true!

We are setting up a PBX with gateway that would allow the "break
out" to
PSTN. So for example, if I am in Hong Kong on business, I can call a UK
PSTN number at UK local rate from the Hong Kong hotel Internet connection.
