Upgraded it ages ago, pay attention Butler, I actually did have a
conversation with you about it at the time! ;)
For the money the HS10 is very hard to beat by anything else I've seen
that's been sub 4K, the only annoying thing is that you have to cycle
through the different aspects should you wish or need to change it. The
noise thing is always an issue with all PJ's and this one is no different,
but to put it in context, I don't think you'd get anything quieter for the
money and I find the HS10 no more noisy that the previous PJs I've owned or
had a go with and there's been a few. ;)
Using a cheap Limit Prog Scan player the images achievable from that alone
are simply stunning. There is no evident "screen door" (unless
you sit less
than 4ft from the screen) and it's more than bright enough for anyone using
the machine sensibly.
The "Side Shot" feature is pants, avoid if you possibly can, it
really
screws the picture up IME so it goes back to the PJ has to be mounted
perpendicular to the screen. I know someone was asking about that a while
ago, and the more off-axis you are the worse it gets as well as it reduces
the throw. :/
The little light up badge is as cool as though! ;)
