Are you using the PBX software from the PBXsoftware site ?
I have a KX-TA624 and using the software from the PBXSoftware site I
also get errors reading the ports but it seems to upload everything
correctly, I think its their software.
I recently installed a few of the newer KX-TDA systems and that just
uses a standard RS232 cable (or USB), so I don't think the cable is
anything special.

I made this cable up from the site but I keep getting communication
errors, I've checked the quality of the cable and all is fine.. I
even get most of the data in and out but keep getting errors!
I may have some pins missing that the offical Panasonic programmer
would require that pbxsoftware dosen't.. not that I am sure what
they could be..
Any Idea's?

Thanks,

-
