There are modules using both the Rabbit 2000 and Rabbit 3000 chip.
Big Difference: 2000 is 5v, 3000 is 3.3v. It seems that most of the
3000 I/O is 5v tolerant, so going your DIO -> 3000 is OK, just need
to make sure that whatever you are driving from the 3000 is happy.
Download the 3000 user manual (R3000UM.pdf), sorry, dont know where
it is on either the rabbit or zworld site, I have a local copy, and
on page 15 is a 2000 vs 3000 chip comparison.
