RE: Digital cameras

I have been using the Canon Digital Ixus 400 and found that to do
everything
your asking.
Also it uses CF cards which are V.cheap and pretty damned robust.

Subject: [ukha_d] Digital cameras

Any thoughts on digital cameras, like the Sony DSC-P8? or the Fuji M603?
Looking for 3M+ pixels and some optical zoom with movie mode.

These both allow 640x480 movies with sound. Any comments on movie quality?
Looking for replacement for both video camera (as I never bothered to take
8mm video camera anywhere) and still camera.
Obviously there is a compromise but both of these seem to have quite mild
compression.

Thanks,

Martin
