I would recommend Nildram (cos I know a few of them from DrSolomons) - they
also provide a virtualFirewall service, which can be handy, and static
addresses

the netgear fm114p I have is a wireless router, cheap, quite flexible in
terms of firewalling, and also understands a DMZ server concept - the
fm114p
does *not* understand L2TP yes, so its only good for PPTP VPN'ing

I've just moved house and lost my unmetered dial-up access. I'm
thinking it's time to take the plunge and go broadband.

So, I'm looking for recommendations for an ISP and for an wireless
ADSL router. Immediate use would be web browsing via laptop, hoping
to set up a dedicated server with Homeseer/personal use WAP content
(hopefully within the next six months).
