Re: Tosh RPTV

Hi Jerome,

I've got the 43" Tosh RP set, and I have to say that I've been very
happy
with it over the last 4 years. The viewing angle is excellent, - I
typically
watch mine _well_ off-centre, and it is absolutely fine for that.
Admittedly, it *does* get brighter as you get more on-centre, but it really
isn't a problem in my opinion. Also, I initially thought that I could see
the line structure (having come from a CRT set previously), but again after
a week or two this was no longer evident to the eye...

Incidentally, I'm looking at upgrading to a 50" plasma panel, and if I
manage to get approval from the FD ;-) then the tosh would come up for
resale, which may very well form part of my FBC... Just out of interest,
would anyone here be interested in a 4 year old 43" RP set, in
*perfect*
factory order, screen calibrated by our very own Mr. Doxey about 2 years
ago... and I guess the all-important question is, what would anyone be
prepared to offer for it....

Paul G.
