I've been really quite impressed with the picture on mine, before I
bought it I was expecting (from what I'd seen elsewhere) to have to
take noticeable drop in quality, I would say there is no noticeable
difference between this and the 32" philips CRT I had before (Not that
I'd be able to notice with all the sky+tivo artifacts).

I don't think anybody buys them for picture quality, (unless they
haven't seen one;) it's the square footage of space they free up and
overall better look to the room once you've removed a wide screen CRT
(note - this argument also generally works better on SWMBO).
