Re: C_Bus_IR

Hi Rob

Thanks.....My first attempt was to learn a programmable remote for my
Bedroom AWA Tv...It recognised it as an AWA ir format but kept getting that
dreaded "Captured data does not match vocabulary" Luckily i had
the original remote..Just tried it again and it now for some reason
recognises the Programmable remote...

Before ANY learning is started i would strongly suggest putting a fresh set
of batteries into the remote you wish to learn....Weak batteries will give
slight mismatches in received ir signals..i had this problem with
Homevision learning my Panasonic codes.....Other than that any standard ir
codes learned without any problems..My other big Gotcha was putting too
many ir codes within a group...Asked another guy about this and he believes
that there is a limit to the number of codes in a group although i must
have missed it..

Great write up Frank.
What problems did you have? And how did you resolve them?

P.S. fancy a trip to the UK, to test and setup my Cbus-IR?

Cheers

Rob
