Hi All

Just applying finishing touches to my new book case.

I have built it from good old MDF using that new fixing system as
demonstrated by Handy Andy on Changing Rooms last week (though i had mine
first)..

I have primed with MDF primer and am now applying emulsion to match walls.
I
want to varnish over the emulsion as from previous experience, i now books
leave coloured lines on emulsion.

Has anyone used a water based varnish that works ok on emulsion ? - my
intention is to try one of the quick drying satin varnishes that you
usually
use on wood.

Dean (call me Handy Andy) Barrett.
