on digital satellite, BBC 1 & 2, ITV and C4 tend to broadcast things in
pro=
per widescreen, could be that?

You must have an awful lot on your TiVo.

I have deliberately left things to see how long it would be before it got
deleted. We normally delete programs once we have watched them but the
program I left was 3 hours long so took up quite a bit of space and I
assumed it would soon go.... it didnt, despite having the exclamation mar=
k
against it so several months later I deleted it manually.

I dont have TiVo set to record suggestions automatically because it would
fill up with Kids stuff and soaps and my programs would never get a look =
in
:-(

BTW. Why does it choose SKY 101,102,103,104 in preference to terrestrial
when you tell it to record off BBC1,BBC2,ITV,C4 TERRESTRIAL. Until recent=
ly
we didnt have 101-104 marked as channels we watched but we had a few days=
of
unviewable terrestrial due to interference from the continent and had to
enable them so we could record the programs we wanted. I will have to cha=
nge
them back to "not received" now the weather conditions have
reverted to
normal.
