Is anyone on the list using a Netgear RT328 or RT348 ISDN router?

I have the RT328 and in the last week now, I have been having problems with
it staying online and not dropping after the 5 mins idle time that I have
set it up for.

My HA server calls up the net every hour during the day for email
collection and in some cases, stays online for a very long time, I am
talkng hours here.

I can monitor it for ages when it is offline and it does not dial so
nothing on my network is triggering it to connect.

I have noticed, after I set it up to send all inbound traffic to my main
computer, that I am getting hits on port 135 every few minutes. Of course,
my firewall on the machine blocks these connections.

I think it is these inbound connections that are causing the router to
remain connected. Could this be true and how do I stop it happening?

Reading the manual on the filtering setup, this doesn't really explain how
to filter inbound data.
