The OSD chip that im using is the stv ***** which i believe is now obsolete
although you can still get them...Have a look at the Dontronics link ..I
use the pcb with only the OSD circuitry and use an external pic ..the board
was designed for the Atmel micro...........

Frank,

I was just thinking that the xbox would only display OSD stuff when
watching
movies etc, what we really need is something akin to the old genlock
devices
that were popular with the old Atari's & Amiga's

Have you got any more info on your OSD?
