TBH if that's your end game I'd advise getting a decent capture card for
the PC.

Extraction on the Tivo is a bit of a long process - there are better
tools out now, but it's still all a bit of a cludge.

Getting stuff *onto* the Tivo will involve you unplugging your Sky/
Cable from the AUX scart socket, plugging in your source, telling the
Tivo to go to an unknown channel number and doing a manual record -
obviously this means you have to time it around the stuff you want to
record on the Tivo from Sky/ Cable/ antenna.
