RE: Nuvo Simplese

Got one of these last week but have not installed it yet. I have played
aout with it and not found the problem you have described. Are you sure
you have it wired up right ;-) Does this happen in both zones?
One thing I noticed is that you can only have one pair of 8ohm speakers
installed, maybe this is somewhere to start looking. Also double check
the dip switch settings on the back.
All in all I think it is a great bit fo kit, and looks to be good value
for a 2 source 4 zone setup.

Subject: [ukha_d] Nuvo Simplese

Hi
I'm new to the group, but having just installed the Nuvo Simplese 4
zone amplifer. Thought I'd introduce myself.

The Simplese so far is excellent (only 2 zones installed so far)but
has one minor irritation. The volume control (Digital) will not turn
down so at minimum volume it is in some circumstances slightly loud.
Is anybody aware of an analogue volume control which will fit in
between the amp and speakers, without screwing up the impedance.

Second point:- In the lounge we have a home theatre system connected
to DVD and TV. I would like to attach the Simplese to this, using
auxillary input, otherwise we are going to be inundated with
speakers. The gain is obviously going to be too much. Is there a
device which will reduce the gain suitable to a level for input into
the home theatre system.

Regards Dave Rowe
