The X10 Floodlight does the following (all on the same House Code)

Base Unit Code (e.g. 1): Flood responds to X10 ON/OFF
Base +1 (+2,+3 & +4) : Flood sends X10 ON when Motion detected. OFF
after
single switchable no motion time. Each code is individually selectable
active/disabled
Base +5 (+6,+7 & +9) : Flood Sends X10 ON when adjustable darkness
detected.
OFF when it becomes light again. Each code is individually selectable
active/disabled.

I use one of these as my primary dusk detector. aswell as a
"normal" motion
floodlight. I have it set to max darkness for the dusk, but I'd prefer it
to
be a little darker before triggering to be honest.

With a 12v external PIR at £50, it doesnt look *quite* so over priced,
though I'd be happy to know of any good cheap (mutually exclusive?) 12V
external PIRs . I have an Opal XL waiting to be fitted at the front
attached
to comfort but havent managed to get the ladder out yet...

I saw the floodlight on lets automate but £70 seems a bit steep.

Also, why does it output to four addresses, isn't one output enough?
