Sega Rally is mulitplayer over LAN isnt it?

Sounds very much like "Grand Prix Legends".

Widely regarded as one of the most accurate physical models for
"real"
cars - so allegedly can be quite a challenge - super mario karts it isnt!

Sounds great!  A multi-player real-time driving game could be a lot
of fun.  I'd really appreciate it if you could find out the name of
the one you're using.
