Have you considered installing the sky+ box remotely, near the dish, and
just connecting the o/p to the affected TV ?

How many CAT5e cables is enough as spares ???

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Sky+ using a single cable connection?

Can anyone help restore calm to our household please!

SWMBO has decided that we *need* Sky+ now that prices are sensible, but
having laid wooden floors both upstairs & down and not having any easy
way
of installing extra cables we have a problem. The install can only be
carried out if there is no major mess which means no lifting of floors
or
chasing in new cables :-(

So, does anyone know if there are splitters that will allow two LNB
connections to be sent down a single cable?

Neil B.
