I am not sure if the DVI is analogue or digital and have mailed the
Hitachi techies to ask and see if they can recommend a solution.
The alternative would be to use an S-video link as both the plasma
screen and the AV unit have this (although unfortunately neither
have RGBVH) - I already use S-video for the existing TV and it works
acceptably but it does give a small degradation in picture quality -
hence why I asked.
